Biography
Hi, my name is Madison Rose. I am a senior at Batesville High School. I go to the Southeastern Career Center located in Versailles. I go there for cosmetology, I absolutely love everything about being able to go there! Time Flies Like I stated in my biography above I attend to the career center every day for four hours and do cosmetology. One thing about cosmetology is that you have to provide our own way of transportation. My high school allows all of the career center students to leave approximately one hour before you have to be at the career center. Therefore, we leave school at 11:00 am every day besides Mondays we get to leave at 10:45 am. The career center is approximately 30 mins away from my town. My best friend is also in cosmetology and I drive her every day. She lives 15 minutes out of town, so we try to go to my house and eat lunch there instead of going to her house. In order to have enough time to drive there and get there with 5 minutes to spare we have to leave at 11:20. It is such a rush and kind of hectic if you forgot to do your hair or makeup that day. When we get let out of school at 10:45 am it is so much more relaxing. I have time to sit down and eat my lunch instead of rushing and eating in the car. I bet if I got all the career center students together they would all love my idea of us getting 15 more minutes every day. Especially the cosmetology students. We are the only students that are allowed to drive to school and there are only 4 girls in the senior class that does cosmetology. It would not be a hassle at all. Batesville out of all schools is the one that is most concerned about how the students feel, and they always help us. So please help my petition in more time. Wouldn’t you want your students to be prepared rather than rushed?

What is your name and area of expertise?
- I’d say around 270, but that’s a rough estimate. What is your favorite thing about building custom residential homes?
- Around a hundred thousand What’s hardest thing about building custom homes?
-Trying to figure out what they want. It typically takes about a month for them to settle on a design. What’s your most significant project you’ve done?
Yeah, I built my first house when I was 19. That was when I was just starting on my own. I also built two more houses I planned to move into but I ended up selling them. When I was about 26 I built a two-story garage at my house. The bottom was a garage and the top was a living quarter. How do you think your skills have helped you in life? - I started at a young age so basically as a teenager I learned in order to be successful you have to stay determined to accomplish your goals and work for what you want in life. These pictures are from the house my Dad and I just recently framed and did the siding on. You should go to Hawaii. It’s a must. If you don’t go you WILL regret it. Well only if you have the chance to go and decide not to...that’s the only way you could regret it. I guess. You would have a great time and it’s really beautiful.. It would be beneficial for you to know about sea animals. Seahorses are pretty interesting. They are an orange-ish color and they have a curvy tail. I think they might be poisonous for the human consumption so if you plan on vacationing to Hawaii or moving there, you should probably find something else to eat.
There is so much to do in Hawaii. They are many attractions you can visit like the Volcano National Park and the Diamond Head. The Diamond Head is a monument surrounded with 475 acres. The Monument was formed 300,000 years ago during an explosive eruption. The eruption sent ash and fine particles into the air creating the Diamond Head. There is a lot more to do in Hawaii than just attractions. You can hike trails and see the amazing landscapes and take pictures so you don’t forget about the memories you have made. There is a gift shop where you can print off your pictures and give them to your favorite kinds of people. Water sports and sightseeing are popular in Hawaii as well. You can go on a Molokini and Turtle Snorkeling Cruise. Sightseeing tours are the Big Island of Hawaii Tour, and the Full Day Kualoa Ranch Adventure. This is why you should go to Hawaii. It’s so much fun and you will have the time of your life. Just go! I love country music, and nothing makes me madder than when somebody insults such art. I think it is a genre of music that is so under appreciated. So here are 3 very important reasons why you should love country music: 1. Reminds listener to enjoy the simple things in life Country songs remind you to just enjoy life and the simple things like taking the back roads. My favorite country songs that convey this message are “Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Every Day,” “Humble and Kind,” “Most People are Good,” and “Sweet Home Alabama,” a classic. These songs are reminders that sometimes you just need to sit back and be stress free. This is a lesson that can only be taught by one type of music… rap jk lol… country. 2. Country music can be more than one fashion When I say this, I mean country music can be danced to, sang to, used to relax, or used while tearing up the backroads. When I am sad, I listen to “Goodbye in Her Eyes.” When I want to dance I listen to “Heartache on the Dancefloor.” When I am singing in the shower, I listen to “Sixteen” and “Singles You Up.” When I am tearing up the backroads, you best believe I listen to every country song ever created. All country songs, used for completely different times 3. This genre actually tells a story Listeners can actually experience what the artist is going through in a particular song. For example, “Live Like You Were Dying” actually makes sense and we can comprehend the storyline of the song, we can understand that the guy in the song was diagnosed with cancer and is living every day to the fullest. But when you listen to someone like Lil Uzi Vert, you have no idea what he is saying or the meaning behind the song. My name is Bea Amberger. As you can tell I love country music, cats, and hanging out with my friends and family. I hope to get accepted into a pre-law program somewhere and then one day go to law school. ;) From the beginning of your childhood you are raised to become a successfully adult. You are taught simple and complex life lessons through experiences you have; these lessons are taught by teachers at school, friends, family, and just about anyone you encountered in your life. Some life lessons are not preserved as important in your life until you are in a situation that you need this knowledge. Over the years I have been taught life lessons some that I use every-day. Here are 10 of the best life lessons I have learned in 17 years:
My name is Britany Venis; I am 17 years old and a junior in high school. I hope to study primary education in college to become a kindergarten teacher. I strongly believe that the life lessons you learn from others shape you as a person and stay with you forever. Music is an extraordinary thing! Most of us go through everyday life hearing or listening to ordinary things and the music others have created. I have been inspired by so many artists including family members to take on music as my own. I’ve been creating music since the 4th grade, obviously I probably wasn’t that good. As I grew up, continuing to pursue my music, I wrote better, more elaborate songs. I enjoy writing; putting the different words together for a song is fun. Then finding the rhythm or tune I want to use is extraordinary… but it can be difficult.
Everything just kind of comes to me, most days. I can be working really hard on a song and never come up with anything… and then when I’m eating cereal or something it’ll pop in my head. I will take this rhythm and play it out on my guitar; and that’s what I love. After hearing the music being played… putting the lyrics and music together is so much fun. I love to hear how it comes together. Most days the lyrics just come to me but I do have to sit down with some songs and just try to concentrate. Those are the hard days… I can’t think of anything to write and if I do, it doesn’t go with the song. I have notepads on my phone where there’s just this whole list of writing ideas. I try to brainstorm as many ideas as possible but it doesn’t come easy. Once I have a good foundation of what I want, I continue off of that. The process can be tough but I love it!! I have a few struggles sometimes, either I can’t think of a tune or I can’t think of lyrics. Most of my songs are telling some sort of story or it can be a word of encouragement. I use as much personal experience with things to write my songs, that’s why they are so important to me. They don’t have a ton of personal experience but they have a lot of personal feelings toward things. Whether its hatred, love, excitement or sadness, etc; I write about it. I would say my music is similar to some. It’s not country... but it’s not pop either. I guess you could say it’s a mix. I do songs entirely different… some fast but most are slow tempo. It really just depends on the topic I’m writing about. When I get done writing a song normally I would just keep them to myself but recently I have a new-found confidence in myself. I perform in a small class for songwriting with the few other students and my teacher. Also, I perform at home for my mom. It’s better than I used to do, trust me. I will get that confidence to actually perform in front of others someday. Music is definitely an extremely important part in my life and I will never let it go. I enjoy to sing and dance too much. Writing my own songs are even better. That’s my dive into music. About the Author: My name is Kasey Barrett and I’m a junior at BHS. I LOVE SWEET FOOD!! I enjoy singing and dancing! Also, it’s true… I create my own songs; not many know that though. |
